Exercises if you have Bad Knees

Do you have bad knees? Don’t let that stop you from getting fit! There are plenty of exercises you can do that won’t put too much stress on your knees. Here are a few ideas:

🚶‍♂Walking is a great low-impact exercise that can help strengthen your leg muscles and improve your overall fitness.

🚴Cycling is a low-impact exercise. You can ride a stationary bike or bike outdoors.

🤽‍♂Water aerobics is a great way to get a workout without putting any stress on your joints. The buoyancy of the water helps to support your weight and reduce pain.

🏋‍♂Strength training can help to improve your overall fitness and reduce pain by strengthening the muscles around your knees. Pick exercises that target your quads, hamstrings, and glutes. And actually PAY ATTENTON as you DO those exercises.

🧘Stretching can help to improve your flexibility and range of motion, which can help to reduce pain and improve movement.

If you have any pain or discomfort, stop the exercise and consult with your doctor or physical therapist.

💗Here are some additional tips for exercising with bad knees:

Warm up before you start exercising.
Cool down after you finish exercising.
Use proper form.
If you experience pain, stop the exercise and rest.
